Musical Kitty Shaker Card

Happy Thursday!! Today is the last day of school for my kids!! As for me I have one more show and hopefully if I get my grading done I'll be able to begin my summer soon after the weekend.

Today I am sharing a shaker card I made for one my piano accompanists. Masculine cards do not come easy and I find it hard to stop adding things. I think I did accomplish a somewhat CAS look...

This card features CDD sequins from the Craftin Desert Diva's shop. I just had to use those Pitch Perfect music notes and the tiny True Love hearts for my shaker. I kept the sparkle to a minimum and didn't even add any bling! Believe me it was hard not to, lol!

The sentiments are a mix and match from 2 different sets! I love how I can go to my CDD stamps and with so many great sentiments I can even come up with more for an endless variety!

CDD Red/White/Pink Linky Party

Now here is what I made:

I made this little kitty and mouse Valentine for my daughter who is crazy about cats. The cat and mouse are from the Cricut Meow cartridge. The heart is from the Artiste cartridge. The heart doily is from my stash from years ago. The papers are from my scrap box. I embossed the red card stock using my Cuttlebug Heart blocks folder.

I used the Craftin Desert Diva's Simply Said stamp set for the sentiment. I glittered up the heart scallops with my Wink of Luna pen and added some heart shaped rhinestones. Here are close ups of the sentiments. I hand cut the tag and the glittery heart ribbon is from Michael's.
