Newton's Nook Designs August Release Reveal Day 1

 

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs August release! There is lots of Halloween and Fall themed goodness! Here is what I created for the Day 1 reveal featuring the Booms & Boos stamps:)

This stamp set is so cute! I just adore these witches! I stamped and embossed the broomstick witch and colored her using Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut her out. I also stamped and embossed 2 bats and cut them out. The trees and headstones are from the Spooky Street stamps. I stamped them with black ink onto the scalloped panel from the Frames & Flags Dies.

I cut the ground layer using black cardstock and the Land Borders Die. I masked off a circle using the Slimline Masking Circles Stencil to create the moon and stamped and embossed the sentiment. The background was ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks. For a finishing touch I added some clear gems for the stars.

La-La Land Crafts Monday Inspiration Fish You Were Here

Hi crafty friends! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are featuring projects with an interactive element. For my card I decided to use an action wobble! Links to all the products I used and the colors are below.

I colored the image using Copic marker and fussy cut it out. To create the background I used the Here Fishy Fishy background stamp with white embossing powder and Distress Oxide Inks. For the sky I use cloud stencil. I used the sentiment from the Jawesome News stamps and embossed it.

I stamped, embossed and colored the fish with Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and attached it to an action wobble and trimmed off the excess sticker.

La-La Land Crafts Ocean Slimline Card

Hey crafty friends! It's inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog featuring products from the July release and I created a slimline card. You can find links to the products and the colors I used below.

To create the background panel I cut the stitched circles out of a card stock panel measuring 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches. Using the new Circles Galore Clear Stamp Set I randomly stamped the images using blue and aqua inks. 

Next I ink blended the background using Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the dolphin, sharks, seaweed and coral using dies from the new release and colored them all using Copic markers. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on black cardstock using white embossing powder and adhered it to my card using double sided adhesive foam tape. 

I arranged all the die cuts and glued everything down. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones and black gel pen to the eyes.

Newton's Nook Shell-ebrate Card

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing this card over on the Newton's Nook blog. It features the adorable Newton's Seashell stamp set and coordinating die. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this kitty using Copic markers. For the background I stamped the Seashell Roundabout stamp several times and embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I ink blended in blues and tans to represent the beach.

The layers were cut using the Frames & Flags Die. For the sentiment I heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I also dry embossed the scalloped layer using the Seashell Stencil. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

La-La Land Crafts Mermaid Mona

Hi crafty friends! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are a sharing projects using the July release. My card features Mermaid Mona. (Links to products and colors used listed below)

I colored the Mermaid Mona image using Copic markers and fussy cut her out. For the background I ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks. Using the largest die from the Under the Sea Die I cut a frame out of white cardstock. 

I also cut the seaweed, coral and little fish out of white cardstock and colored them with Copics. The sentiment is from the A Little Note Clear Stamp Set and I stamped and embossed it onto the front panel. For a finishing touch I added colored glitter marker to the mermaid tail, coral and fish and I also embellished with some sparkly gems.
