Happy Birthday Kitties Card

Hi crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink featuring some new and older products from the shop! The links to the products I used are below.

I just love the new Lawn Fawn Giant Happy Birthday Die and I combined it with some adorable stamps from Mama Elephant. First I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Woodgrain Back drop die with some white cardstock. Next I cut out the cardstock using the Giant Happy Birthday To You Die. I stamped, embossed and colored up these adorable images from the My Pet Kitties stamps using Copic Markers. I fussy cut them out but you can use the coordinating dies which are available in the shop!

To create the ink blended background I used Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina with the Newtons Nook Designs Cloud Stencil. For the grass I used Bundled Sage and Shabby Shutters. For a finishing touch I added some blue gems.

La-La Land Crafts July Release Day 3

Hi crafty friends! It is Day 3 of the La-La Land Crafts July Release and today I am sharing a card featuring the adorable Beach Is Calling stamp set. 

How sweet are these piggies? I colored these images using Copic markers. For the background I used the Seaside Dies to cut the sand and the waves. I ink blended the background using Distress Oxides and the Summer Is Here stencil. 

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Just Chill stamp set. For a finishing touch I addes some sparkly gemstones and doodled on their swimsuits using gel markers. La-La Land Crafts July Release Day 2

 Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 2 of the La-La Land Crafts July Release and I have a card to share featuring the new Hey Chum Clear Stamp Set. (colors I used and Links are below)

To create this card I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copic Markers. I cut the images using the new coordinating die called Sea Critters Outline Dies. I used an A6 sized card base and the new Under the Sea Dies to create the ocean. I ink blended using Distress Oxide inks and added the fish in the background from the new Under the Sea Stencil. The sentiment is from the new Jawesome news stamps. 

I created the sand from the new Seaside Dies and embellished using the Under the Sea coral dies and the Seaweed Dies. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones for bubbles.

La-La Land Crafts July Release Day 1

Hi crafty friends! Today we are sharing projects using the new July Release at La-La Land Crafts! I created a card using the new Sea Life Clear Stamp Set. The colors I used as well as links to the products are listed below :)

 

These stamps are so cute. There is also a coordinating set with just the outlines as well as a coordinating die set that works with both sets!! I focused on the whale stamp and used gray and blue inks from my stash. 

For the little fish I used gold and yellow inks and the jellyfish pink and purples. To create the background I used Distress Inks with the Summer Is Here Layering Stencil set for the clouds and waves as well as the new Under the Sea Layering Stencil Set for the schools of fish. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the new Hey Chum stamps.

To create the sea floor I used the new Seascape Die and ink blended the sand. I cut out the plant from the Seaweeds Die and the coral from the new Under the Sea Dies with white cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. I stamped and embossed the images and colored them using Copic markers. I cut the images using the coordinating dies. For the background I used Distress Oxide inks to blend the sky and added layers of white cardstock for the snow. For a finishing touch I added holly leaf embellishment to the fence, glitter to the snowy ground and snowflake shaped sequins to the sky.

You Deserve A Treat Birthday Card

Hi crafty friends! Today at the La-La Land Crafts blog we are sharing inspiration with the theme of "Celebrate". I created a card featuring one of the adorable penguins from the Just Chill stamp set (product links and colors below)

First I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using Copics. I also cut and colored the hat from the Pardon My Frenchie stamps and put it on the penguin. I cut a rectangle of the polka dot patterned paper from the Celebrate Paper Pack and using my bone folder I scored a frame around the edges for added interested.

I cut out a scalloped rectangle and stamped the sentiment. Then I lightly distress inked the background. I trimmed some sparkly white glittered cardstock using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die. For a finishing touch I added sequins and sparkle to the balloon and hat.

Spellbinders Beautiful Sentiments Vignettes Collection

Hi crafty friends! Today I have some cards to share featuring dies from the Spellbinder's Beautiful Sentiments Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. (Links for all the products are below)

This first card is featuring the Happy Anniversary Vignette. I cut the word die out twice in both white and gold foil cardstock. I also cut out flowers and leaves from the Universal Curved Border Set dies and colored them using Copic markers.

Using Distress Oxide Inks I blended a background cut out with the circle frame die included in the set. I adhered everything to a panel that was embossed using the Love Stripes Embossing Folder from Fun Stamper's Journey. For a finishing touch I added gemstones to the flower centers.

For the second card I cut out all the dies from the collection in white cardstock. I also cut out a second cut of the word die using silver foil cardstock to layer behind. I blended a background using blue Distress Oxides inks. I cut florals and leaves using colored cardstock and framed them around the diecut.

For a finishing touch I added gemstones again to the center of the flowers.

8 Year Anniversary Celebration with Newton's Nook Designs!

Today I am excited to be part of the 8 year anniversary celebration with Newton's Nook Designs! To celebrate this awesome milestone, Newton’s Nook Designs has released adorable new cupcake themed products (AVAILABLE TODAY!), which I will be sharing on my projects today. I created an A2 sized card. I cut the scalloped frame from the frames & Flags Die and using the new stencil I added different colored distress inks to make my cupcakes. This new stencil set is SO MUCH FUN!! I even added some Nuvo Glimmer Past to a few of the cupcakes for sparkly dimension!

I stamped and embossed the kitty from the new Newton's Cupcakes stamp and cut it out using the coordinating die set. I colored her calico style using Copic markers. I added the birthday hat and embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder. For a finishing touch I added some gold splatter and sequins :)

Hi everyone! Today we are featuring cards with a "Vacation" theme over on the La-La land Craft's blog. For my card I used this adorable penguin from the Just Chill stamp set (links to the products and colors I used are below)

To create the background I cut out the largest scalloped rectangle die and used the Summer Is Here Stencil with some Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks. I trimmed off another layer to create the sand and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I stamped and embossed the adorable penguin and colored him using Copic markers.

Hi crafty friends! I have a card to share that is featured today over on the Newton's Nook Designs blog. I just adore the new Newton's Seashell stamp! 

I also used the Seashells Stencil with Distress Inks and to dry emboss the white layer on my card. I stamped, heat embossed and colored up the image using Copic markers. I then cut the image using the coordinating die. I used the slimline die and partial diecutting technique to add the stitched scalloped edges to the stenciled layer.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the adorable Beach Barks stamp. For a finishing touch I added some blue sparkly gems.

On Your Birthday Have a Doggone Great Day

Hi everyone! Today over on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are featuring cards with critters! I decided to make a card featuring this adorable pup from the Pardon My Frenchie Clear Stamp set!

I first stamped, embossed and colored her up using Copic markers. I added the polka dots to her birthday hat using a gold metallic marker. For the background I die cut the largest scalloped rectangle and lightly stamped it using the Wood Planks Background stamp.  

To create the presents I cut out the rectangles with some patterned papers and glued ribbons to them. I colored a little shadow to create the floor. For a finishing touch I added a few iridescent sequins. You can find all the colors and products I used linked below.
