Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 1

Hi everyone! Today is Day 1 of the reveals for the Newton's Nook Designs April 2021 Release!! I'm so excited to share with you the new stamps, dies and stencil we are featuring today and the projects I created with them.

For the first card I used the new Bleeding Heart stamps and coordinating dies. I stamped it twice, heat embossed and colored the flowers using Copics. I also colored up this cutie from the Bitty Bunnies stamps. 

I cut out a background panel using the Framework dies and inked it up using Distress Inks. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added the butterfly from the 2nd stamp set we are revealing called Gnome Garden. 

For my second card I created a slimline. I just adore these Gnomes!! I stamped, embossed and colored all the images using Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. 

Next I created  the background using the scalloped layer from the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die. I cut the grass and hills using the Land Border Dies. Next I inked them all up using the Distress Inks. The new Petite Clouds Stencil worked perfectly to add the tiny clouds at the top of my card. 

I added the sentiment at the top and embellishes with some sparkly sequins. I hope you like my cards today :)

La-La Land Crafts April 2021 Release Day 1

 Hi everyone! Today is Day 1 of the La-La Land Crafts April Spring release and I'm so excited to share with you the new stamps and dies and the card I created!

My card is featuring the new Tweet Tweet stamps. I stamped, embossed and colored up the cute birds using Copic markers. The patterned paper is from the new Awakening Paper Pack. I love the new 

Linked Squares Die. I cut it out twice, layered it for more dimension and used Distress inks to the inside pieces to create a treetop look. 

I also cut out the new Bird Nest Die and the florals from the new Large Birdhouse Die to add to each frame. I popped up the birdies onto some adhesive foam. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly pink gems to the centers of the flowers. I hope you like my card :)

Happy Spring

Hi everyone! I've got a card today to share featuring a Spring Fever Theme over at the La-La Land Crafts blog.  I created this card using the Oh Crop stamp set. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable bunny using Copics. This bunny is normally holding a egg but I trimmed out a little bit to make her hold the flowers instead :) I also used Copics to color in the grass and flowers. 

 I used distress inks to blend the background and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I also trimmed out a layer using the Spring Has Sprung Paper Pack. The cloud die added a nice touch to the sky. For finishing touches I added some Nuvo drops to the center of the flowers.

Coffee Themed Water Color Cards

Hi everyone! Today I have a card trio to share featuring stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs. I tried some water color backgrounds over white embossing! It was really pretty quick and simple to put these cards together. 

First I cut out the water color paper rectangles using the Framework Die Set.  stamped and heat embossed all the images with white embossing powder.

Next I painted the different colors of Distress Inks onto the center of each panel. I heat dried them and added more colors until I got a rectangle shape of color.

I adhered the panels onto a top folding cardbase in Neenah kraft cardstock. For a finishing touch I adhered a splash of some iridescent sequins.

I Carrot About You

 Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share my first card as a design team member for La-La Land Crafts!! This week we are featuring items from the newest release, so you know I just had to use the adorable bunny from the Oh Crop stamps. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie tending to his carrot crop using Copic markers. For the background I cut out a rectangle and ink blended the sky using Distress Inks. 

For the ground I cut out the rectangle again but trimmed it using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die and inked it up using Distress Inks. I doodled some flowers onto the gardening boots using metallic pens.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added the little flower to the sweet bunny's ear. I hope you like my card. Have a great day :) Shop today at LA-LA LAND CRAFTS!
