La-La Land Crafts Flower Theme

Hi everyone! Today over on the La-La Land Craft's blog we are featuring projects with the theme Flowers. Here is what I created:

My card features the beautiful new Daffodils Layering Stencil (links below!) as well as my favorite bees from the Just Bee-Cause Clear Stamps.  I stamped, embossed and colored up these adorable bees using Copic markers. On an A sized panel I used Distressed inks to stencil in the Daffodils. For extra sparkle I used some Nuvo Glimmer paste over the flower centers. I think it turned out so beautiful.

I cut out the scalloped circle and stamped and heat embossed the center. I also used the new aqua colored Distress Ink over the the bottom half of the die cut. To create the flowers I die cut them out using white cardstock from the Large Birdhouse die set and also inked them using the Distress Inks. I cut the leaves out of green card stock. Below you can see the embossed detail of the sentiment and bees. It is hard to get this detail in photos.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi everyone! I wanted to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! Here are a couple of cards I created using some awesome products from Spellbinders.

The adorable kitty and window dies are from the Daydreaming Die of the Month from December 2020. I'm trying to use my stuff! I have so many amazing products from the monthly Kit and Caboodle that are brand new and unopened that I'm excited to start playing with!

I absolutely love this planter stand die from Fun Stampers Journey Happy Plants Die Set. I thought it paired perfectly with the kitty and the window. 

I ink blended the sky background using Newton's Nook Cloud Stencil and Distress Inks.

I also added the bird die from Newton's Nook to the tree branch. The stamped and embossed the sentiment stamp which is also from Newton's Nook.

 For a finishing touch I added sequins and Crystal Nuvo drops to the plant pots. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my cards. Have a great day!

You're the Bee's Knees

Hi everyone! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are featuring cards with the theme "Anything Goes". I chose the Just Bee-Cause stamp set which is one of my favorites from the newest release.

I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable little bee using Copic markers. For the background I did some ink blending using Distress Inks. I stamped and embossed the sentiment. I cut out the branches and beehive and inked those up with distress inks as well. the flower branch is from the Large Birdhouse Dies. 

I added some sparkly Crystal Nuvo drops onto the center of the flowers and also added some sparkly gold dots to the beehive using a gold Nuvo Glitter Marker. The card base is 6 inches x 4.5 inches. I used the Double Stitched Rectangles Die and the Awakening Paper Pad to create the floral frame.

We recently paired up with Therm O Web designs and I had so much fun using the Toner Cards with Deco Foil so I decided to create another card using the polka dot background.

A Little Note

 Hi everyone! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are all featuring projects using the April Release. I had so much fun creating this card using the new stamps and dies!!

I started off by stamping the little birdie using mostly Distress Inks. I then added some shading with with my Copic markers. I also used the coordinating die set to cut her out!! I love that there is a matching die set! I ink blended the background layer that was cut from the Scalloped Rectangles Die. For the birdhouse I used the new Awakening paper pack and some pink card stock.

I then decorated the card with the branches and flowers. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and used foam tape for the bird as well. For a finishing touch I added the pink pearls. I hope you like my card. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day :)
