La-La Land Crafts April 2021 Release Day 1

 Hi everyone! Today is Day 1 of the La-La Land Crafts April Spring release and I'm so excited to share with you the new stamps and dies and the card I created!

My card is featuring the new Tweet Tweet stamps. I stamped, embossed and colored up the cute birds using Copic markers. The patterned paper is from the new Awakening Paper Pack. I love the new 

Linked Squares Die. I cut it out twice, layered it for more dimension and used Distress inks to the inside pieces to create a treetop look. 

I also cut out the new Bird Nest Die and the florals from the new Large Birdhouse Die to add to each frame. I popped up the birdies onto some adhesive foam. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly pink gems to the centers of the flowers. I hope you like my card :)

Happy Spring

Hi everyone! I've got a card today to share featuring a Spring Fever Theme over at the La-La Land Crafts blog.  I created this card using the Oh Crop stamp set. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable bunny using Copics. This bunny is normally holding a egg but I trimmed out a little bit to make her hold the flowers instead :) I also used Copics to color in the grass and flowers. 

 I used distress inks to blend the background and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I also trimmed out a layer using the Spring Has Sprung Paper Pack. The cloud die added a nice touch to the sky. For finishing touches I added some Nuvo drops to the center of the flowers.

Coffee Themed Water Color Cards

Hi everyone! Today I have a card trio to share featuring stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs. I tried some water color backgrounds over white embossing! It was really pretty quick and simple to put these cards together. 

First I cut out the water color paper rectangles using the Framework Die Set.  stamped and heat embossed all the images with white embossing powder.

Next I painted the different colors of Distress Inks onto the center of each panel. I heat dried them and added more colors until I got a rectangle shape of color.

I adhered the panels onto a top folding cardbase in Neenah kraft cardstock. For a finishing touch I adhered a splash of some iridescent sequins.

I Carrot About You

 Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share my first card as a design team member for La-La Land Crafts!! This week we are featuring items from the newest release, so you know I just had to use the adorable bunny from the Oh Crop stamps. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie tending to his carrot crop using Copic markers. For the background I cut out a rectangle and ink blended the sky using Distress Inks. 

For the ground I cut out the rectangle again but trimmed it using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die and inked it up using Distress Inks. I doodled some flowers onto the gardening boots using metallic pens.

Hi crafty friends!  I have a fun Spring themed slimline card to share today over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog! It features the adorable Lawn Fawn stamp set Don't Worry Be Hoppy Even better this set is on sale now so if it has been on your wish list be sure to check it now!

I first stamped, heat embossed and colored up all the images using Copic markers. I cut them out using both the coordinating dies and my Scan 'n Cut. I  

I used the Mama Elephant Window Dressing Die for the scalloped and grass layers. I inked the grass and sky using Distress Inks. 

I also heat embossed the sentiment. For finishing touches I added sparkle marker and iridescent sequins.
