La-La Land Crafts Monday Challenge- Use Clear Stamps

Hello craft friends! Today over on the La-La Land Craft's blog we were challenged to create a project using any LLLC clear stamp set. I decided to create a card featuring the Poodles of Love stamps. (Links to the products I used and the colors below)

I just adore these sweet poodles and wanted to create a little scene. I stamped, embossed and colored them up using Copic markers. I think they turned out so cute! I cut out a rectangle layer and ink blended the sky background using Distress Inks. 

For the grass and hill I used the Double Stitched Hills and Grass Patches Die and ink blended them as well. I added some splatter for added texture. I cut out the flowers and colored them with Copics. I added bling to the centers. 

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added the white puffy cloud die cuts. For a finishing touch I added some sparkle to her bow. Below is a closeup pic of the embossing. It is hard to show just how extra special it looks in person with the pictures.

La-La Land Crafts Monday Challenge 3D

Hello crafty friends! Today over on the La-La Land Crafts blog we were challenged to create with the theme: 3D. It has been forever since I last created a box card so I decided to make my own template for a box card without the flaps that seem to be trending now. 

I created the card base to fit an A6 sized envelope. I stamped, embossed, and colored up the unicorn from the Be Unique clear stamps using Copic markers. I used several dies (listed below) to create the foliage. I inked all the greenery using Distress Inks.

The patterned paper is from the Spring Has Sprung paper pack. I ink blended the background on the scalloped layer that I cut from the Scalloped Rectangles Die. 

For finishing touches I used a sparkle marker and gem stones to the front of the card. Here is a close up of the added sparkle on the unicorn's horn and mane.

I created two cards featuring the pups from the Terrific Terriers stamps and dies. I just love these images and I'm so sad to see them retiring but excited for new the products all the same. For the first card I stamped, embossed and colored up the doggie using Copic markers to be a Yorkie terrier. 

For the background I used the Tumbling Hearts Stencil and Distress Inks to create a fading heart pink background onto the scalloped frame from the Frames & Flags Die. I cut the heart using the Heart Frames Die and dry embossed it with the stencil. 

For finishing touches I added some gems for extra sparkle. Below is a closeup of the embossing. In a recent post I was asked what I meant by embossing my images and sentiments. It is hard to photograph without distorting the image but I did my best to share the stamped embossing. I just love the added dimension and texture. You can also see up close the dry embossed hearts from running the heart diecut through my cutting machine with the stencil. 

For my second card I featured the other pup. When I first looked at this image I saw Toto from the Wizard of Ox. I believe Toto is a Cairn Terrier so I colored him up using the grays and blacks. 

For this card design I featured patterned papers from Doodlebug Designs. I got the bone from the Christmas Puppies stamps and the birthday hat from the Pug Hugs stamps. I love to mix and match different sets together.

Coffee and Friends

Hi everyone! Today I have a couple cards to share featuring the Not 2 Shabby Shop I Heart Coffee stamps. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up these adorable images using Copic markers. You can find all the colors I used in the video :)

I just love the papers that came in this months Coffee and Friends kit. I believe it is sold out right now. But you can choose any coordinating designer papers for this style card.

I used the Jaded Blossom Triangle Card Mat Dies for that quilted look. 

I added sparkle marker to give it some extra sparkle.

I Heart Coffee

La-La Land Crafts Flower Theme

Hi everyone! Today over on the La-La Land Craft's blog we are featuring projects with the theme Flowers. Here is what I created:

My card features the beautiful new Daffodils Layering Stencil (links below!) as well as my favorite bees from the Just Bee-Cause Clear Stamps.  I stamped, embossed and colored up these adorable bees using Copic markers. On an A sized panel I used Distressed inks to stencil in the Daffodils. For extra sparkle I used some Nuvo Glimmer paste over the flower centers. I think it turned out so beautiful.

I cut out the scalloped circle and stamped and heat embossed the center. I also used the new aqua colored Distress Ink over the the bottom half of the die cut. To create the flowers I die cut them out using white cardstock from the Large Birdhouse die set and also inked them using the Distress Inks. I cut the leaves out of green card stock. Below you can see the embossed detail of the sentiment and bees. It is hard to get this detail in photos.
